Early Career Network

Our network for Early Career Researchers helps build links and opportunities across our partnership.

What is the Early Career Network?

The ECN is an inclusive network that brings together early career researchers (PhDs, post docs, research associates, assistants, and fellows) working across different disciplines but with a shared interest in understanding the impacts of a changing world.

The network runs events throughout the year, creating opportunities for networking, collaboration, peer support, and professional development. Events could include informal social gatherings, workshops on grant writing and career planning, and careers events – to name just a few possibilities. The Early Career Network will be a welcoming space for sharing ideas, as well as a place for peer support and friendly advice for navigating early career academia.
